MY GARDEN

Me and Todd were determined to do a garden this year, but I was a little hesitant not really knowing how to grow one. Lets be honest, when mom left me in charge of watering the plants or watering anything for that matter, it had a tendency to DIE! I don't know what it is...I kill everything. I either over water it, under water it. But I will have you all know that not one thing has died in my garden. At times it looked on it's death bed but it made a turn around and is growing like crazy. Our tomato plants our out of control, every day we have to tie another branch up cause it's so heavy and tips to the ground. Also we have peppers, corn, cucumber, cantaloupe, beans and that's it.

SCHOOL

Ok so I have been stressing out SO SO SO bad about school this year...teaching it not attending it. I just barely got some of my texts books I will be teaching out of, yea so nice of them, school starts next month. I have been cramming all summer to try and get ready, and I still feel so unready and unprepared! AH AH AH I am teaching Science, don't ask me why I am so not licensed to teach Science, but leave it to our school system to find some way to cheat the system, our poor students. I really am dreading to teach science, I always hated that class myself and haven't' taken a science class in I don't know 8 or 9 years! SO I have been teaching myself science, physical science that is, not the funnest summer ever! My other two classes I am teaching English and Reading which should be great. This is my ever so faithful husband who has listened to me whine about not being ready for school. So he is making my RULES poster for me, yes he has better hand writing than me, sad I know. Thanks a ton for helping me sweetie, you have been so patient with me!

Birthday Decorations

Ok so whoever made birthdays parties that had to have these huge themes, with party favors, and your choice out of 10 different desserts, and the whole sphill??? Growing up you all got the same decorations, balloons, streamers, the happy birthday sign, and I know very old fashion...cake and ice cream. Who would think of that at a birthday party. SO that is just how I decorated Myas Big day, she got balloons streamers and cake and ice cream. I didn't feel the need to go way out on her first b-day, she doesn't even know whats going on! Ok so maybe this is all an excuse because I have absolutly NO creativity, and really you don't need a creative mind to blow up balloons and hang streamers. It really was a fun day though and I actually had a lot of fun hanging up her decorations...old school way!

CAKE TIME

Mya was SO SO SO tired by the time we got home to eat cake and ice cream she seemed like she could care less about anything! Poor thing. But once the cake got in front of her she came alive! She is her mama's girl, she loves sugar! At first she just dipped a couple of fingers in the cake and than after she licked all the frosting off, she grabbed the cake and went after it! Gosh I love this little girl.

I just had to add this picture of Hannah, I think she looks so dazed and just funny expression. I believe she just came up out of the water from doing one of her cool tricks as she calls them!!!

Hannah loved this slide and she is so daring. She would fly down it backwards. Todd got some good shots!

Daxton absolutly loves to give kisses, but just to babies. He was so cute, I think Mya got like 100 kisses that day. He would walk over to her and just lay one right on the lips. By the 62 kiss Mya decieded she had had enough and just smacked Daxton knocking him over. Yea my little one has a bit of a temper growing. She shows me more of it each day. I thought that doesn't happen till their two???

MYA TURNED ONE YEARS OLD

Mya, our little baby, is one years old now. Gosh I can't believe it, time flew this last year with her. We went over to the Clearfield Aquatics center and did some swimming with her cousins. It really was a lot of fun and are so glad Chel could come with her kids. The kids really enjoyed it. Except brody when we made him float with his floaties cause he thought he would drown. And don't worry if you were there on Wed and you heard this high high squealing sound like someone was dieing it was just brody! That kid can scream. It was a lot of fun. Mya at first was not sure of the water...but by the end she was loving it and splashing and actually let me leave her side here and there. This is sad to say but this is the first time we have taken her swimming in a public pool, really swimming ever I guess! I don't know why either, I love water and being out in the sun and Todd well he hates swimming with a lot of people. He will only swim in his pool in Cali at home, odd I know. But I really need to take her more so she is more used to it. It is funner to go with people though, so if anyone ever wants to go swimming I am up for it. Oh and I highly reccommend the Clearfield center, it was so fun, it has tons of stuff for the kids!
